AML Policy

AML requirements for buyers and merchants, including crypto payments processed through Bybit.

1. Internal AML approach

LirPay applies internal AML controls designed for crypto-native payment flows.

We may flag, delay, or block transactions based on risk signals and policy thresholds.

2. Review states

Transactions can enter review while additional checks are performed.

Merchants are notified in-dashboard when a payment or payout requires attention.

3. Prohibited use

Use of LirPay for sanctions evasion, stolen funds, or clearly illicit activity is prohibited.

Accounts tied to high-risk behavior may be restricted or terminated.

4. Buyer requirements for exchange-processed payments

When checkout identifies Bybit as the payment processor, the deposit is subject to Bybit's supported assets, network requirements, deposit limits, and compliance review.

Use funds you are lawfully entitled to transfer. Do not use stolen funds, sanctioned sources, or transfers intended to conceal an unlawful source or evade required checks.

Send the exact displayed amount in one on-chain transfer on the specified network and include the displayed memo or tag when required. Exchange withdrawal fees must not reduce the amount received. Split payments, incorrect amounts, unsupported networks, and missing tags may require manual investigation and may not be recoverable.

5. Review, confirmation, and requested information

A blockchain confirmation alone does not mark an exchange-processed invoice as paid. LirPay confirms payment after the processor reports successful credit and no unresolved deposit restriction, applicable Travel Rule review, or required tax review.

Bybit or LirPay may request accurate sender information, transaction records, and evidence of source of funds when needed for a payment review. Provide information only through official Bybit or LirPay support channels. Never disclose wallet seed phrases, private keys, or passwords.

A compliance hold can delay payment confirmation and merchant settlement. Publishing or accepting this policy does not guarantee that Bybit will release a deposit or prevent account restrictions.

6. Payment issues and returns

For a delayed, mismatched, or restricted deposit, contact support with the invoice reference, asset, network, transaction hash, and sending amount. Do not send another payment solely to clear a compliance hold.

Return requests are reviewed individually and depend on verification, the processor's ability to release or return funds, applicable requirements, and disclosed network or provider charges. Automatic or immediate refunds are not guaranteed.
